SpotLog Sync

The SpotLog Sync Service allows you to sync data between your apps and the SpotLog server.

If you have the sync service (the sync service is an extra paid function) SpotLog enables the "Sync" button on the Log page.

Tap "Sync" to upload your records to the server and download any new records from the server.

  • "Sync" on the Log page downloads any new data from the server and then uploads any new data from the device to the server.  Only changed data is transferred, "Sync" on the "Log" page will usually complete quickly as it is only transferring changed data
  • "Resync" on the Settings page downloads all of your data from the server, and then uploads all the records in the app to the server.  "Resync" may take some time to complete, if you have a large database of records.  It is recommended to use WiFi when Re-Syncing.
