Downloading DataSets for SpotLog

Spotlog has many datasets for different countries and type of rolling stock.  These can be viewed on the web at https://spotlog.org/locolist or in the app on the Sets page.
 
On the sets page, you can browse the list of countries and datasets.
 
Tap the icon on the right to download or update that set.
 
Once you have downloaded a DataSet, the app will automatically download Updates for the set as the data on the server is updated.
 

Editing and updating SpotLog DataSets

SpotLog data is not official, and is independent of the railways and companies featured.  Data is edited and updated by users of the apps using various sources, including other web sites, web forums, and personal observations.

Where possible we obtain permission from other websites before using those sites as data sources.

The data is only possible thanks to the efforts of the many volunteer editors who create and update data.
