    3001-3060 are fitted with ATS and VRS and can be used anywhere on the Metrolink network. These units are split between Queens Road and Trafford depots.
    3061-3120 are not fitted with ATS/VRS equipment and can only be used on services to Ashton-under-Lyne, East Didsbury, Manchester Airport and Rochdale. These units are now split between Trafford and Queens Road depots.
    3004, 3005, 3051 & 3055 are fitted with modified ice-breaker pantographs based at Queens Road Depot. 3014, 3016, 3017, 3021 and 3032 are fitted with ice-breaking pantographs based at Trafford Depot.
