WR 252 car was built in 1952 at the MÁV Dunakeszi Vehicle Repair Shop on the model of the former dining car with track number 230 of the International Sleeping Car Company, which was severely damaged. In the late 1970s and was exhibited in front of the building of the BME Department of Railways. The car was renovated in 1997.
