These are the 2nd generation cars in service on the Funiculaire Les Arcs' Express. First opened in 1989 this funicular is integrated into the lift system of Les Arcs ski area and connects the train station of Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the valley with Arcs 1600 station at the top.
The funicular line is 2885m long and has an elevation gain of 818m with a maximum incline of 39%.
