30 wooden framed, G type trams were built by Schlick for Budapesti Villamos Városi Vasút (BVVV) in 1906.
#2624, originally #270, is the oldest tram currently operating in Budapest. In 1959 it was given a steel-framed body. It operated as a private vehicle in Amsterdam between 1984 and 2004.
