The Tatra T3 is a unidirectional high-floor tram built by ČKD Tatra. The design is based on it's predecessor, the T2, with changes to make it lighter and easier to construct.
A prototype was built in 1960 and serial production began in 1963. Around 200 pieces were delivered to Košice between 1963 and 1979.
